Dewhurst St Mary’s School House
Dewhurst St Mary’s School House, Cheshunt is a Grade II*,
listed building dated 1640 and situated in a playground between Victorian and post
war buildings. The property was administered by the County Council and although part of
the ground floor was used for dining and storage, the remainder of the building
stayed derelict for years. The Trust who has a 125 year lease from the Dewhurst
Charity has converted the south end and upper floor
into a masionette and three flats, and the dining hall has been leased back to
the County Council.
