Restoration Projects

The Hertfordshire Building Preservation Trust has always operated on the principle of a ‘revolving fund’. It has acquired derelict properties, sometimes following the service of Local Authority Compulsory Purchase Orders or the threat of Repairs Notices, and has even been bequeathed properties. These have then been refurbished mostly to residential use. Some have been sold to create more funds for further projects, whilst others have been retained as capital assets in a varied property portfolio. Below are a number of restoration projects the Trust has been directly involved with, some of which they currently owned.
